ottomun is a student-run three days Model United Nations conference. Since its inception in 2011, ottomun has grown into Turkey’s premier Model UN experience for middle school and high school students, with over 750 delegates in attendance last year from throughout Turkey and beyond.

ottomun aims to connect students to the challenges that confront modern society and inspire them to think about the world from new perspectives. The cornerstones of our philosophy are professional and approachable staff, an atmosphere of realism, and a high quality of debate. We provide delegates with the opportunity to discuss, debate, and resolve relevant and contentious issues. We seek to offer a wide variety of committees to reflect the diversity and complexity of the world today.

Moreover, each year, we invite a key figure in Turkey’s and international politics to talk about their experiences at our Opening Ceremonies.
